You really captured his vocal style, which is so important to the Modest Mouse sound, but also not being gimmicky about it, and still sounding like yourself.
It just dawned on me that your normal vocal style is probably pretty well influenced by him (Brock).
I liked it, as always.
your music has a confidence about it that isn't audacity or bravado, just confidence. You seem unencumbered by worrying about what people will think of it and just making music that you want to make. It's so subtle, but I really enjoy it.

ha! thanks man. And yes, to say that I've listened to a "bit" of Modest Mouse/Ugly Cassanova doesn't really do it justice. I can sing every lyric on moon and antarctica and This is Long is a Drive like its nothing....so much wonderful music. Most of the tunes I first learned were Modest Mouse
