Live, loud Bridge Stacks for Telecaster

hi ---on the SD sound samples, the Vintage Stack STK-T3B bridge Dirty sounds livelier than the Hot Stack,

but

for those of you using them live/loud, does this Vintage stack liveliness (on recording) actually come out as pain and agony at big volume?.

And the smoother Hot Stack comes out better live/loud?
thanks

/edit/
also, the STL-2 "Hot Lead " and Quarter pounder also sound flatter than the Vintage stack in the samples, so same question applies
thanks

I've used the Vintage Stacks before and they very very nice, IMO...

I use Quarter pounder set and I am very happy for what I do. IMO, pickups shouldn't be judged by the sound clips although they may be helpful for comparing different pickups.

I heard more than one time that my Quarter pounder bridge sounds very creamy without losing definition. It's hot enough to play hardrock while still retaining certain characteristics of tele. No wonder the Boss used them in his tele for such a long time.

Thanks guys.
We're not always mic'ed, so I need to care for the folks in the front row. Creamy with definition, that sounds pretty good actually
