I have an HSS set of Livewire pickups which i think are Classics but i want to know for sure.

On the bottom of the humbucker it has an embossed letter D & the singles have the letter E.

Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like the ol' 18v Live Wire pickups to me.

The LW2 and Blackout series of active pickups have three pin connectors and a piece of green PCB showing underneath.

Yeah they are 18 volt but i want to know if they are Classics or Metal. I think the humbucker is a classic but not sure about the Neck, it's pretty beefy.

Is there a colored band on the wire from the pickup anywhere? I think the hot single coil live wire I used to have had a red band on it.
