Lollar Blonde Pups vs. Seymour Alnico Pro Strat Pups

Has anyone tried out both the Lollar Blonde Strat A2 set and the Seymour APS Strat A2 sets in order to make a qualified judgement? I suppose to be more equitable, the Seymour Duncan APS set would need to be the non-staggered A2 set since the Lollar Blonde Strat sets also use non-staggered A2 magnets. Anyone?

i have a pair of aps2's and have used the lollar blondes before. the aps are a little meatier and hotter but there are a decent amount of similarities. the lollars seemed a little brighter with less mids, little more chime.

they were in different guitars and i didnt a/b them at the same time but thats my basic impression.

Thanks Jeremy, your description of both Jason Lollar blonde pup and Seymour Duncan APS pups clarify enough to me "le differ'ence" It seems as that's what I heard somewhere before. I like the meatier mids and smooth top end of the APS's myself. Tonally it sounds as though Lollar used A3 magnets in the "Blondes" vs. the stock A2 magnets that he advertises. It's easy enough however to gauss or degauss magnets to acquire the desired "tonal response curve" and tonal attributes. It's all just ear candy anyway, as a good jazz guitar friend of mine would say.

the lollars i tried were pretty light on the wind, less than 6k.
