Lollar Tweed Pickups...

Can you listen to the Lollar Tweed clips, of the neck/middle and neck and tell me what Seymour Duncan, or other pickups they sound like to you. I can only find those pups in a 3 piece set, and since I have a Fat Strat I only need the neck/middle.

closest? probably the ssl1 vintage staggered. havent tried to many lollar pups and im not sure what ones ive tried but they sounded similar to a vintage stag type tone. the ssl1 is one of the best production singles and best bargins around

Yep...all true! The Antiquity Surfers are similar and even better!

I've heard a lot of great things about the Surfers. But most of this has been about their clean tone, how do they handle some blues breakup? Zeppelin-esque overdrive?
