Long or short legs for pickups

I dont think I have ever bought a pickup with long leg. The pickups will be going in a Gibson Les Paul Vixen..will short legs be just fine?

Yes no issue, The long legs were really only necessary for arch top gibsons

Short legs are what you want.

Doesn't matter, as long as it the pu cavity will hold it.
