i need a little help from you.
if you look at this video..around 1.55 and around 2.45...what kind of pick up especially on the yamaha sg do you think he has on the bridge?
Neck is essentially an alnico 5 paf..kind of 59...but what about bridge?
it seems (given that he sound through a leslie 825) to have waaaay more output and mids..
What sounds like that?

You can't even see the guitar that well after he swithes from the PRS...Im not even positive thats a Yamaha, and I own a Yamaha SG2000!

I'll tell you this...if it is a Yamaha it's likely the stock everything...Carlos has never really been into switching guitars around much unless something broke and those Yamaha pickups in the older SG2000's are quite good.

it's a black yamaha sg2000..i have the pics...
i've had an early sg2000 and now i've a sg3000 custom
no one of the two have a so hot bridge pick up..
the 2000 was quite thin on bridge...the 3000 is not thin but is not so hot..
