Looking for a good bass practice amp

Hey, guys. I've decided that I'm going to get back into playing bass and make it my main instrument. I'm looking for a good, clear combo to practice with and maybe doing a little recording with. My only requirements are that it be under $450 and lightweight. Under 40 pounds is good. 35 or less would be ideal.

Thanks, guys. :)

Re: Looking for a good bass practice amp

I have a Hartke B30. It's decent. My son won it in a SamAsh online giveaway. It's been discontinued, but it was around $100 at the time.

There's also the Bass V-Amp.

My dad gigs with a Roland bass amp. He paid less than your limit.
