Looking for a good strap

Re: Looking for a good strap

I really like the Heartwoode straps. They're wide, and made entirely out of tonewoods! Very comfy, too. I have a maple one that I use with my M1.

Jodihead makes wide straps, as well. All leather, good contruction.

Not sure if Levy's makes a wide strap, but you can check ...

Re: Looking for a good strap

I had a wide Fender Strap a while back. In fact, I sold it because it was so wide that it kept sliding off of my shoulder. I'm a big fan of the Peavey Wolfgang straps. Medium width, very comfortable, available in three colors, and they run about $40. Not cheap, but a very good strap.

Re: Looking for a good strap

How do you make a guitar strap out of wood??? lol I'd think it would either break, or be stiff as... well, a plank.

Anyway I really like my Levy's strap, it's not THAT wide, but I love it because I haven't had ANY problems with it. It never slides off, and its really a good quality strap.

Yup...I've got one of those for my Hardtail. Super comfortable, nice smooth looking grain on the topside, and a nice non-slippery suade type leather on the inside. I put strap locks on mine for the full S&M experience. I think I paid $19.99 on sale at GC.
