looking for a good tech in the PDX area

Hi All,

I've been following the board for a while, but this is my 1st post.

After a few years I've decided to pick up the guitar again. I bought an Ibanez RG321MH, along with a JB/Jazz combo, Fender/Schaller tuners, and an Earvana nut.

Anyway, I'm looking for a really good guitar tech or shop in the Portland, Oregon area to install the pickups & hardware and do a pro setup to the guitar. Any suggestions?

I've used Portland FretWorks on Albina with good results. He did a total setup on my Les Paul after I bought it new. He dressed the frets, fixed the wiring that Gibson hosed up, and generally made it play like butter.

I don't know of anyone in your neck of the woods, but you might try 5-Star Guitars in Hillsboro. I know absolutely nothing about them, tho.

I didn't know this, but Five Star Guitars is less than a mile away from my job! So I stopped by today and it's a cool little shop & the people there seem knowledgeable. So I dropped off my axe and I'll get it back sometime next week.
