Looking for a new pedalboard.

I use exactly 3 pedals.
Fulltone OCD, Digitech whammy, Dunlop wah.

Is there a compact pedalboard for that? I could stand going a little bigger so if I do get another pedal or 2, I can fit them on.

Any suggestions?

Re: Looking for a new pedalboard.

im no help man, i literally use a board for my little board with three pedals. timmy->red shift-> deja vu powered by a one spot. it cost me nothing other than some velcro and staples and black paint

Re: Looking for a new pedalboard.

Usually, I go to the nearest store with my pedals and try the cheapest one that's still built to quality (at least made of metal). I use four pedals with a Voodoo Lab power supply on the board: a Shark Pedal Tuner > DOD 250 > locally modified You Dirty Rat > GE-7 > whatever amp

Also, I'm sure you can manage five pedals into a pedalboard meant for three, if you rearrange things enough.

Re: Looking for a new pedalboard.

Not sure if you are into the Pedaltrain Concept (checkout the Pedaltrain JR for your needs) but www.pedalboardplanner.com is great for visualization.

EDIT - the Pedaltrain Jr is the one that will for your needs.

I'm with J here. Unless you're doing serious work some 3/8 plywood or a plank of cheap pine, velcro, duct tape and a can of black spray paint. Lay out your boxes on the floor and rough out you configuration, measure and cut a piece to fit. If you needs grow, repeat and cut some more wood. (hint..save the small board as it could come in handy later.) I have about a half dozens old planks of various sizes and one of them is almost always perfect if I need to slap something new together.

Re: Looking for a new pedalboard.

go to your local hardware and buy some timber for decking.
Have them cut it to size, then nail and screw it together. Add some velcro tape and job done for not much coin!
43 cm (juts under 17 inches) will fit inside one of those standard silver camera cases.
One foot is ample for 3 pedals.
this one is just under a foot:

this one is 43cm and fits inside the case:

and this one is stacked up (you can see how its constructed) with 2 levels. This one also fits inside a camera case:

you can see there is room underneath where the power supply is hidden:

Re: Looking for a new pedalboard.

Well, that does it. Seems simple enough to make one tailored to my specific needs plus it's much cheaper and probably more fun, so I'm headed that route.
Thanks guys!
Guess I'll spend the money on something else then. I'll post a new thread about it in the Bassment.

Re: Looking for a new pedalboard.

I've always wanted to build my own board, but never had the motivation to go for it. Looking at Gibson's boards, I think I'll have to do that next time I need a new board.

Re: Looking for a new pedalboard.

For a small or unusual size where you know that you're not going to be changing your pedal configuration, I'd say the DIY route is the way to go. A bigger board and DIY starts to suck due to weight. If you want to go with a purchased board, I really like Pedaltrain's stuff.
