I have a work budy that is wanting to get into guitar. He would like a playable acoustic in nice condition for under $200.

I've got an old Goya (made overseas for Martin) that is ok. It's just a little beater. It's got a high fret so it frets out at about the 10th fret (nothing a fret level wouldn't fix) I've kept it because it sounds good for chording! It is a great little guitar. I could let it go fairly cheap...$140+shipping? that'll leave ya a little change left over to get a fret level if you wanted to go that route

I've got an Aria Dreadnought that I bought in Japan in early 80s. Has some dings but is beautiful. It has what is known as a laminated top - laminated layers of spruce - so it pretty much sounds the same today as it did when I bought it. It has a great neck. I can get it to you with a hardshell case for under $200.
