LOOKING FOR ACTIVE 7 STRING PICKUPS

I just bought a brand new Ibanez RGIX27 (my first 7string :) then I got a set of SD 7 string blackouts because I liked the way they sounded in my blackjack 6 string. But they had a muddyness on the 7th string I didn't like at all. I need something that can handle dropped Ab better without sounding too loose, any suggestions? Btw idk if this is the right forum to post this in so yall can move it if you need to!

Do you have standard Blackouts? The Mick Thomson Blackouts have really tight lows and are designed to keep that tightness with really low tunings. They should also drop right in your guitar.

Yeah I have the og blackouts right now and my friend had a set of the emtys and they sounded 100 times better than the 707s I had in at the time

If anyone has a phase 2 used mick thomson set they're not using, I'd love to trade my og blackouts for em, they're like brand new only been installed 1 time

I run a Dimarzio Evolution b in my 7. Not active but I can say I like it just as much as my 81/85 active set. Tight and articulate but I leave mine in standard tuning.

I've never tried the dino set that's the only reason I didn't ask about it, but I'd be open to trade my set of 707s or blackouts for a set of the EMTY or Retributions.
