I am looking for material on pick up theory and construction. The more techincal the better. I didn't see any book refs in the FAQ section. Am I looking in the right place?

Thanks in advance for any help. I know nothing, I know nothing.

There isn't much. Jason Lollar has something that's well respected, and there's some real basic stuff in a couple guitar building/guitar electronics books, but...

I'd like one too.

You might web search AMPGE, SK GUITARS, and GUITARNUTS and learn what you can from those sites & forums.

if you read the Q&A on this website as well as the FAQ, there is enough info there to get started...plus it's comming form a killer source!!!

Thanks for your direction to those sites. The Jason Lollar book is out of print and the used book sites don't have it. I will start with the Q and A. Sounds like it might be a good time for somebody to write a book on the subject.
Thanks.
