Somehow I've gotten bit by the offset bug and ended up with two Fender Jags. One is an American '62 Reissue. The other is an MIM Classic Player with single coils, of course.
I could use some guidance on what vintage/Surf voiced pickups would be good for the AVRI, then I would trickle down the American pups to the MIM Jag.
I've seen SD Antiquity II Jag pups on Ebay for $134 shipped.
I've also seen the SD SJAG-1n/1b sets for $116 shipped. This sounds pretty fair considering I've seen the stock American pups go for $100 per set shipped. The American pups come with the claw & pup covers though.
Also up for consideration are Curtis Novak's and Vintage Vibe but they're more expensive.
