Looking for new pickups

I'm looking for new pickups for my Squier strat. I want it to sound like a Les Paul and then an SG with the flip of a switch and to retain normal American strat tone. What pickups do you recommend?

(joke)
I've seen too many of these threads on here

Re: Looking for new pickups

OK, it won't sound like a LP or an SG, but this set will fatten it up enough to keep up with the Gibsons:

Install a Lil 59 in the neck, Classic Stack in the middle, an JB Jr in the bridge. Install a pair of push/pull pots to switch the neck and bridge pickups from series to parallel for more stratty tones, and a third push/pull pot to get neck and bridge pickups together (or all 3 at once). This will allow you to get the sound of a dual humbucker axe and reasonably stratty tones out of just one axe.

ok 12 y.o. here's the deal ...

you get cut some slack as a newbie because we try to welcome folks here ...

but i am not sure what your point was for starting this thread in the pickup area ... if you only want to screw around, do it in the off-topic area ...

if you get a reputation for wasting people's time, you will get alot less help if you ever really need it ... and that would be a shame because there are alot of very knowledgable people here who could help you become the best-informed 12 y.o. guitarist ...

make good choices

ps - i have a sneaking suspicion that this user is another regular user under disguise .. no proof ... but suspicion

your suspicion has been confirmed in the off topic room, T4D. and it's exactly who you think it is.

Re: Looking for new pickups

I want the Clapton Beefheart tone with a reversible neck that's a rosewood LP neck on one side and a maple Strat neck on the other, with a pivot so you can just flip it while you're playing.

And the body has to be 100% ash and mahogany at the same time.
