Looking for pickups

I have a 6 string Ibanez sdgr bass with a low F sharp string trying to find pickups to accommodate low full sound play gospel music with and some punch help please Jazzy gospel PS does not have to be Seymour Duncan it can be bothering anybody just the best for what I'm trying to do thank you

I know little in the world of bass, but just to clarify for others, this is a 6-string bass that is being referred to. I had a whole paragraph written out before I noticed this key fact.

Without going into a great of question and answer, if you brought me that bass with those requirements I would not hesitate to install a pair of Bartolini pickups - a MK6CBC-T in the bridge and MK6CBC-B in the neck.

I think that bass has Bartolini pickups, doesn't it? Are these active or passive with an active preamp? And whats wrong with the pickups in the bass now?
