Looking For Pictures of a Green SD

as the title says, i'm looking for good pictures of a green seymour duncan pickup. preferably a humbucker, but green is green; humbucker or otherwise. i've found a few pictures on ebay, but they're all from the same seller and they all look really washed out. hard to tell! google hasn't helped much either, since all pictures it deems relevant are of green guitars with SDs in them.

anyway, thanks for any replies! hope i can get at least one picture here

I dont have any pics of just the pickup, but I have some of one in an old focus 1000 I had. Im at work and cant post now..

thanks! makes me think that maybe the pictures i had seen weren't as washed out as i thought. it looks to be a very light lime green. is that close?

was thinking about throwing one in the bridge of this

Yeah, they are a light neon.. The pics under Banjo mike's store on ebay are pretty close.. Gonna be lighter than your axe. If you are trying to blend, not gonna work, but if you are going for 80's with some contrast, do it. and get yellow singles. :friday:

:D yep, i've been looking at banjo mikez for ordering. didn't want to say anything in case there was a no advertising policy or something (some forums are really strict...) but i've called him a few times for help and to discuss pickups and he's a cool guy. anyway thanks for the help! i've got a nickel cover, so i might go ahead and get the green, then cover it if it's just too weird.

i'm in an ebay bidding war for an all black (boring, i know) SD right now, but thought green could be interesting. the body is a warmoth Charger Green, and it's much more pea green than those pictures make it look (yes, like an old Charger :D ).

that green / cream idea is really cool... and that neck isn't too accurate either. i just had that sitting around. it'll most likely be a maple / ebony neck

update: i won the black SD screamin demon i was bidding on! i'm excited. i've heard mostly good things (and one person saying they weren't happy with theirs). now i need a neck pickup. still not sure what i'll be looking for with that.

most likely a dimarzio hum canceling pickup to match the middle single coil. then some strange wiring. two volumes, one for both singles and one for the humbucker and a 3 way switch for the single coils only. that'll allow me to get any pickup combo i want without having to have a push pull or switch of some kind. i've never been a fan of how a push pull felt. they always feel cheap to me. and no tone knob. hopefully i wont regret that! i never really use them anyway, and hope that the all-out sound of the singles will keep me happy enough that i won't regret leaving it off.
