Looking for Wiring Diagrams for Tele

I've just got the front Single / rear Humbucker Telecaster. It is normal 3way blade switch volume and tone. So I want to mod to 4way blade switch with 1 vol/1 tone push-pull split wiring(rear humbucker) I've looked for the web but have no chance to find one. I've done several wiring with this helpful Duncan site. Is anyone knows how to please share with me. I have soldering iron but no multimeter and not know much about the electric circuit. Thanx

Does your humbucker have four coated wires plus one bare or shield wire? If so you can coil split it, if not you'll need a new 4-wire pickup.

Now. Please tell me your humbucker's wire colors and how they're connected.

One wire should be going to the selector switch. That's your hot wire.

One wire plus the bare wire should be going to the back of a pot. That's your cold or ground wire.

The last two wires should be joined together and taped off.. Those are the coil to coil wires and you'll be using those to do the coil split.

The next thing to check is that the neck pickup has a third wire. If it does, great, if it doesn't you'll need to add one.

Post some pictures and let's see what you've got.

Looking for some help finding a wiring diagram on an alternate 4 way switch wiring for a HS Tele that I am having difficulty finding (maybe not even possible?). I am putting in a Seymour Duncan Little 59 in the Bridge and want the option of series/parallel

What I want…
Position 1: Bridge HB Series
Position 2: Bridge HB Parallel
Position 3: Bridge HB/Neck Single (Stock) Parallel
Position 4: Neck Single (Stock)

My Tele (2021 Squier Affinity Tele) is pretty thin and might even have trouble using the new lower profile CTS Pots with the circuit board…so I thought I might try to find out if the above is possible.

would have made more sense to start your own thread rather than bump multiple ones started by others.

i dont think that wiring is possible unless there is a 4 way super switch out there, ive never seen one but i havent really looked either

He started a thread for it. I concur with your assessment though - don't think a garden variety 4-way can do that.

Already replied on your other thread.

Thanks guys. I have tried to post some photos somehow they can not upload. I sent message to administer but no reply.
Front single has 3 wire and rear has 4. It is not Duncan but Lollar so it would be same wire color as Duncan I think. I have no knowledge of hot wire or cold wire. So I just follow the drawing like Duncan site offer.(/ _ ; )

It would indeed look like Lollar follow the same color convention as S-D.

As it's a Squier, I suspect the Fender 5-way superswitch won't even fit in the cavity, either width wise or depth-wise.

Have a look at Schaller Megaswitches instead.

You may have to be a little adaptable in your position / coil selection, but one way to think about things may be to think of the guitar as a Strat type, with your humbucker being the bridge and middle pickups in one casing.

Plan B would be to use a push-pull to do a series/parallel on the humbucker before the switch.

If a push-pull is too deep for the cavity you could drill a hole and fit a separate DPDT mini switch into the control plate.

Either way,, you can then use a regular "import" style 3-way for your pickup selections.

I didn't get a message, but there have been a few issues with photo uploads. If you can host your photos somewhere, we have been having better luck linking to them.
