Love the Custom(TB-5) need something similar

Good evening,
I own a TB-5 for about three months now and I couldn't be happier with my choice...
I use it in an alder body Charvel Star for Heavy-Power Metal and it is amazing...
I also have a superstrat(5150 model)with a single humbucker in the bridge...
Which one would be the best pickup...?I love the Custom's EQ but this time I need something smoother for hard rock...maybe a Custom with less output and not such an "in your face sound"...
The guitar is made of alder with maple neck.

I'm all ears!!!

you can turn a custom into a Custom 5 or Custom 8 or Custom 4.
i think the best model for you is the Seymour Duncan SH-14 Custom 5, it is the standard SH-5 Custom with another magnet (Alnico V (5)), more open, brighter, smoother, less compressed, with the same DC Resistance & i think (dont know) the same EQ of the standard Custom.

The TB-5 can give me a great VH sound from the latter years(I like them better)
Can Custom 5 give me this type of sound?

By the way...
Custom 4???? I have heard things on this forum about the Custom 8...but never heard of the Custom 4...

yes it can
custom 4 is an SH-5 or SH-14 or SH-11 with an Alnico IV (4) magnet :)
