Low/medium gain rock/blues amp demo..

Phantasmagoria

watch where you point that sabre
I'd bought this head a while ago & have been messing with it for a couple of months now. It's a mid/low gain head ...kind of plexi-like but a bit warmer/less bright with a sweet teak wood enclosure, that was built by a local dude my brother knows who works on a lot tube equipment (mostly Hi-Fi stuff) as a hobby.

Anyway, I finally have a nice mic'd (single SM57) recording/demo up running through various amp settings with a Vintage 30 loaded 1x12 cab (not mine). My own cheap Laney Camo 4x12/IRT 2x12 are fine for metal but probably not the best thing for recording this head :laugh2:

I've got plans for a pine 1x12 with an Emi Legend GB128 (that I already have) in it that I'm thinking of building myself for it, but in the mean-time..

Thanks man! Yeah, it's a sweet little head...looks like it came out of the Jetsons & sounds really nice as well (without really being an all-out clone of anything) ..I think I'm lucky to have come across it :bigthumb:
