In general, you can knock off at least $150 of whatever the web Gibson dealers are charging by buying from a non-web Gibson dealer.

The price has gone up a couple hundred bucks in the last few years. I bought my studio in early 2000 for just over $1100 (that included tax). I didn't get anything knocked off the price, either.
