how is the M6 compared to the Invader? how is the volume swell with the M6 compared to the 'instant on' Invader? I'm using a Randall Diavlo 100w head with a Horizon Devices Precision Drive and a Schecter Blackjack with an Invader bridge and Full Shred neck with 11-48 (54 up top) in drop C/ D standard... super curious about these pickups considering the new Schecter Blackjack models are strapped with them! cheers

No real glue, but the vol swell is more dependent on the taper of your poti than anything else.
Guess the the Lindgrens will be tighter

Night and day, I would assume. I don't have direct experience with the Lundgren, but I've seen a few shootouts where it appears like it's more along the lines of the Omega. Kinda like a super clear, bright, balanced, mid output pickup rather than a dark fat overwound crazy hot pickup like the invader.

It was developed for Meshuggah's 7 and 8 strings first.

AFAIK, the M6 is 12K-ish with a regular sized Ceramic.

I like the invader in some guitars, and you can always skip the tone-pot and/or use 1megs to lend a bit more clarity.

IMO if the blackjack is the avenger or another with all mahogany neck and bodies then you would do better with something more like the M6 or Aftermath.

Oh buddy they are totally different.

The invader is hot, thick, crunchy, like a chainsaw.

The M6 is tight, aggressive, less syrupy than the Invader, and is like a dremel tool on 10.

... and is like a dremel tool on 10.

Bwahaha, you crack me up
You have a nice way to describe sounds:

Nah. The nazgul is like a chainsaw. The black winter is like a tablesaw and the distortion is imho like nails on a blackboard.
Are those descriptions in no load operation or with wood in them?

So if want the sound of nice router, what would you suggest?:lmao:
