LW Metal pickup set problem

I just recently installed the lw metal pickup set in my guitar but I don't have any output. I can hear the volume and tone change through my amp but I am not receiving and sound from the pickups. Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

Connect the batteries up correctly? Double check all your lines for solidity and make sure they're going in the correct places.

I went back and checked all of my connections with the batteries and they seemed fine. Could improper grounding cause the pickups to not work?

Are you using the right output jack?

Yeah I'm using the one that came with the pickups, the 3 prong instead of the usual 2. Unless they sent the wrong one.

Are you sure the batteries aren't dead? Try popping in a fresh set and see what happens. Sometimes the batteries that ship from a factory in any device are DOA.

I tryed a new set of batteries and I'm still getting the same thing. The pickups won't pick up anything and the pots are making noise when you touch them. Kind of like when you first plug in a guitar.

Make sure nothing is grounding out around the pots.
