Where can you get them and how close to Duncans' are they in strength?

So far I see only Alnico V's available from Stewmac and Blackrose. I need a ceramic and an alnico II though.

Looks like somebody's got a C5...

Do you have a junk stock pickup sitting around? If so, crack it open. Chances are there's a ceramic there.

Haha, I DO have a C-5.

I also have one I made from a Custom and a JB, which I'd like to put back together now but lost the ceramic magnet somehow. :smack:

Anyway, thought I'd get an alnico 2 magnet as long as I'm at it to try to "make" a Custom Custom (Which I've always wanted to try).

I have an Ibanez V8/V6 pair. Are those ceramics? I thought they were alnico 5's for some reason.

StewMac has some stuff, but anything AMPGE carries I would get from him.
