Mahagony Tele with Little 59+STR-2 ??

How would it sound?.. any ideas? or anyone had a Mahagony Tele?..

This is a Warmoth project..

Mahagony 1 piece body
Mahagony neck with ebony fingerboard
with Little 59 and STR-2

I just wanna be able to play lots of styles.. I will split little 59 with 4way switch and thinking to use 250K Volume pot with STR-2 and 500K concentric pot for Little 59 and Tone..

Any ideas?.. about wiring or pot values?.. and any ideas about Mahagony Tele?

That`s my guitar your building....hehe
That`s as close you can get to a Gibson les paul custom.
You`re gonna get a warm sounding guitar there,the ebony fingerboard sounds a bit brighter compared to a rosewood. 500k for the HB`s 250k for the SC.

500k pots will open up the tone of the str-2, which is mighty warm and some say muddy especially in a mahogany guitar. try that before going for the concentric.

I will try for sure... STR-2 is a highoutput Single coil..it can sound good with 500k

I have tried 500K with a STR-1 and the tone was very bad. i had to put a 0.47uf Cap between hot wire of STR-1 and Switch.
