Mahogany Tele with JB, Strat Hot Stack, Marshall Plexi

Re: Mahogany Tele with JB, Strat Hot Stack, Marshall Plexi

sounds pretty cool. what's wierd to me is it sounds somewhat p-90ish, rather than like a JB:dunno: good stuff though:)

Thanks for listening, guys. I like the JB in a tele more than I like it in a Les Paul. It still sounds tele with a bit more rock. The strat hot stack is nice in the neck too. That's been my favorite tele neck pickup for quite a while.

Sounds great, really cool tones. I'm also surprised at the sound you're getting from a JB, shows how versatile those pups can be.

Diocletian, I really like the JB in a tele. This guitar is definitely versatile with the strat hot stack in the neck position. The mahogany body makes it sustain a little more and it is a little less snappy than an ash tele. I've had A2 JBs and a Bug-Sey in other teles. Always fun.
