With both of these claiming to offer 'vintage' Strat sounds, what's the big diff's and which would offer sounds perhaps reminiscent of Jerry Garcia's pre-Alembic, unmodified Strat days of the early 70's, with sweet 2 & 4 pos. sounds? Also, I may want to go with an HSS set-up with either a P-90 or a Mini HB in the bridge; which of these would be a great pick for that position?

SSL1s are the tone and look of a brand new Vintage pickups . Antiquitys are pickups that have a tone and look of pickups that would be decades old from the 50s-60s . Hope that helps. Both are vintage winds.
