making a head and cab out of a combo amp

hello there! i think the question is pretty clear...is it possible? it's a laney lc 30-ii...also just played the laney through a mesa cab clone, and now im playing the pod hd, and its incredible how the pod hd sounds awesome and even better in terms of clarity...you put a valve preamp in the pod or play it through a valve preamp and it probably sounds too awesome to be true...

cheers!

I think how possible it is depends on you -- on the tools and skills you have at your disposal. Of course, if not doing it is not an option, it looks like your path is clear.

nice! what i mean to ask is if there are head skeletons for sale that would allow me...also the combo panel is kinda angled, so if that could be put not angled as in the controls of a head...i'm not gonna do it also, gonna hire a professional, but wanted to know if it's possible nonetheless (or if anyone has ever done it here)

or since you mentioned me, in case i was to do it, if there are voltages that i should be aware of in case i removed the amp myself...like all the tutorials to it

I've known people who have done this, but they were pretty good woodworkers to start. I've also seen heads/speakers rehoused as combos.
