making a lefty pickup a righty?

I've been looking for an ssl-5 for my strat and someone offered me a good deal on a lefty. Can I just flip it around to make it work with my righty guitar? Thanks!

I'm guessing the slugs are staggered?

It'll definitely work, though the slugs (polepieces) wont be under the strings like theyre to supposed to be.

I have a gibson humbucker in a fender, and it works fine, even though the polepieces dont line up.
