Man, is it GREAT to have a Seth Lover in a guitar again!

Finally upgraded the bridge pickup in my 50's Tribute Les Paul with a Seth Lover and am instantly reminded how much I loooove this pickup. It's been a couple of years since I last had one and it's just a pleasure to hear it through my amp.

I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it matches up with the 490R in the neck that I did an A5 magnet swap on. I'll probably end up getting a Seth for the neck, but for now it works. I put a cover on the 490R while I was at it so they guitar is nicely dressed up with 2 covered pickups.

It almost feels like a New Guitar Day!

I just got a seth bridge today, my first. And now I need to build a Tele around it.:laugh2:

I think that's a great way to go.

A few years ago I picked up one of those G&L Bluesboys that's a Tele shaped guitar with a Seth in the neck and a single coil bridge. The Seth neck was smooth as butter and sounded great, but the single coil bridge was too bright and out of balance with it.

I always thought it would have made a great guitar with the pickups reversed like you're doing.

Great PU. I think a lot of people would be Seth fans once they try them.

It is interesting that we have certain "waves" of subjects in the forum. When I joined, it was the PG / Custom 8 fever. Now, we're entering a time with a lot of Seth Lover / 59 threads. =)

Life is like that. However, I think Seth's are much better than PG's.

I love mine, it's a bridge but I put it in the neck position of my lap steel.

I know. It's just a little of SDUGF philosophy. hehehe

One thing I think it's much better now is that people are paying more attention in the kind of music one person is gonna play before recommending a pickup.

They're great sounding pickups.
