man the build quality on these US PRS amps is no joke!

Went through the new Custom 50 today. Tubes dias cleaned all the pots and Jack's etc. Here are gut shots of both my first gen Archon 50 head and the Custom 50. No PC board mounted tube sockets. Well laid out clean designs with modules for the power supply top grade components big iron these amps ate impressive when you get them open. It's no wonder they are a little pricy! Knew the Archon was well built but didn't expect the Custom 50 to be like that!

Pretty Neat! I remember watching a video on YT on Tony McKenzie's channel in which he was praising the build quality of the PRS MT 15 no end. He always opens stuff up and pokes about inside & that thing was laid out seriously well according to him ..with grade A components etc. So I think the oversea's ones are made damn well too. I Have'nt opened up my new amp (and probably won't unless I have to ) but I'd be surprised if it differs too much from the others..

From the outside it looks real classy and immaculately built/solid in person .Kinda menacing/sinister too with that black brushed aluminium panel
