Marshal MG250DFX

So what's the consensus on these amps? I had a solid state 30wat Marshall from the 80's that I liked. I haven't had a chance to play it. I have a line on one for a reasonable amount and I'm wondering what a fair price for one is considering its sound/features?

they were great for the time... pre-smartphone era.

these days, i'd rather have an iPad with an interface and a decent tone app than a big clunky "digital effects" amp. Cuz then I could look at porn and have barely passable digital tone on one handy device. And the video games aren't bad either.

Clean channel is decent and it will handle OK the dirt pedals that you will need,
because the OD is awfully fizzy and scooped even with the contour off.

It weighs a ton, too. I guess there's much better out there but these come up stupid cheap sometimes.
