Marshall 3315 'the Solid State JCM800 ?'

Sorry for another speculative thread. I keep talking myself out of amps, but one of these popped up locally (150 watt lead.)

Anything to that little bit of hype? Any luck trying to doom with one - or is that the only thing these can do?

I don't know about doom, but my Lead 12 with a TS in front does a great JCM800 tone at a comfortable volume. I even built a specialized mini board for jamming in the living room.
