Marshall 4x12 For Sale

I need to help my daughter with rent and utilities this next month since we are having an issue with her financial aid, so my JCM 900 1960A cab needs to go. It's loaded with Celestion G12T-75's. Two of them were taken out of my old 1985 Marshall 4212, so they are very well broken in. The other pair are original to the cab as far as I know, so they are at least 10-12 years old. I don't know what year the cab was made.

I bought this cab in 2004 or 2005, I honestly can't remember though. I took it to Scott Splawn in North Carolina and had him put new cane grill cloth on it and upgrade the wiring to his heavy duty version. The cab is in great shape with no tears or damage. It's been in storage for the past 3 years and I have no use for it.

In the shape it's in and with the upgraded grill cloth and wiring, I think it's worth more than $500, but I need the cash so $500 it is, plus whatever actual packing and shipping is. If anyone is within a couple of hours of Tulsa I could arrange to meet them. I'll take some more pics tomorrow of the rest of the cab, but here are a few that I have now.

Here it is holding up my Christmas tree currently.

Nice looking cabinet. I just got $400 for mine, not as nice looking.

Re: Marshall 4x12 For Sale

Surely someone can use a killer Marshall cab in excellent condition with nearly brand new cane grill cloth....this is the stiff Marshall cane, not just the fabric that looks like cane, so it is really sturdy. Re-wired and checked out by Scott Splawn of Splawn Amplification. Two of the speakers are G12T-75's that are 25 years old, out of my old Marshall JCM 800 combo and they sound fantastic. The other two speakers are also G12T-75's that came with the cab. Being an early to mid 90's JCM 900 cab, they have at least 15 years of break in on them.....so the speakers are fantastic.

Excellent shape, no issues with the corners, handles, tolex....anything. I'm going to have to put this on Craigslist soon because I have to have the cash, and I would rather a forum brother have it (that way at least there's a possibility of buying it back in the future ;) ). I HATE HATE HATE to sell this cab. I re-covered it in this color scheme because I fell in love with the look of Gearjonser's Bogner cab when Jolly and I stayed with him after UGD in 2005. If there was any way I could avoid selling this I would, so please, someone help a brother out.

Re: Marshall 4x12 For Sale

I'm genuinely surprised this hasn't sold yet. I wish I could help you out, bro. Unfortunately I think shipping would probably bankrupt a small nation. Best of luck, dude. :fing2:

Re: Marshall 4x12 For Sale

Yeah, I'd have to chop it up into small pieces and post it to you....even then postage and VAT would KILL you.

Re: Marshall 4x12 For Sale

You need to put this in your local Craigslist, ask $500 for it, and take no less than $450 for it. I think it would still fly off the shelf at $500.

I'd buy it if I had the need for it.
