Marshall amp ID

I went to bar with some of my friends the other night, and there was a cover band playing that we see pretty often. Previously he had been using the same amp as I have (late 80's JCM800 2205 or 2210) but he had a new head. I have never seen this head before and couldn't ID it on Marshall's website, so let my try and describe it:

- it looked new, most likely a re-issue
- it only had 3-4 knobs on it, one being a chickenhead knob. From what I can remember there were two regular knobs and one chickenhead, but there may have been another regular
- It was in a plexi type enclosure

Does anyone know what model that would be?

Re: Marshall amp ID

Kamanda guessed the same as me - reissue 20 Watter head. Love that vertical 2x12 slant cab.

I was guessing 2061X too. I've never seen a stock Marshall with chickenhead knobs. :boggled:

I was going to guess the same thing. One of the Best amps I have ever played. Expensive though

Re: Marshall amp ID

Hmm it wasn't the 2061X. I'll ask next time I see him. I remeber the power/standby switches were on the left side, and the inputs were on the right with the knobs in between. Thanks for the help though.

Check out the Doyle book, there's a Park with white chickenhead knobs.
