Marshall DSL401 combo

To help pay for a recent purchase, and due to lack of use, I want to sell my DSL 401 combo. I bought it a few years ago off of ebay looking for the 'tube sound' in a combo platform, but it wasn't the sound I was looking for (oops). Although it sounded great hooked up to a halfstack cab, not long ago I picked up a Randall RH200 head & cab, which has remained my 'workhorse' amp. The 401 is a good practice amp, a hella loud 40 watts, but I don't practice away from here too often. I also replaced the stock speaker with a vintage 30, which was a good upgrade.

The facts:
40 watts
Clean - OD - OD2
Footswitch (Clean / OD1 & 2)
Replaced stock speaker /w Celestion V30
Dual speaker outs for driving cabs, 8/16 ohm switchable
Speaker simulated DI
FX Loop
New preamp tubes with very low amount of hours on them


All that said, some pics:

There is tortex damage to the top-right and left backside, but thats the only physical damage.

If you "fall" or "Lose" what? Your seriously makeing No sense Brian. I think its about time you laid off the payotte and Just gave me that amp. The Giant Purple Drangon agrees, So I think its time you just knock it off and hand it over.
And go ahead and try and find me. But make sure you bring the amp, That'll save me alotta trouble.

I want your amp, badly, but don't quite have the bucks (nor credit card space) for it right now. I knew I should've filed my taxes a flippin' month ago!

I think your price is fair, BTW, that wasn't intended as a criticism.

My next couple hundred dollars MUST go towards new pickups and frets, or I'll hang myself.

Hehe I know, I just did my taxes last week.

I'm close (ish) to MI, I'm in northern illinois, literally 15 minutes from wisconsin. I haven't been very "active" in my attemps to sell it, so if you'd want to buy it in the future, I could hold it (depending on the time frame). My money needs aren't so dire now that a guitar deal went kaput, so no biggie.


I wouldn't want to wait untill..say May or something, but a month I wouldn't have a problem with. Let me know what you think.
