Marshall DSL40C

Played Marshall DSL40C. I liked the cleans. Distortion was good too but the single string doesn't sound so good.
What do you guys thiknk about this amp? And maybe overdrive pedal before the amp can make single strings sound better like in this video?

The best pedal I've found for adding gain and fatness is the Way Huge Green Rhino. Kick that on, and your solos will have great sustain and a fatter than unison tone.

Single string?? lead notes? I love my amp, was it with the stock speaker? the note definition is excellent! I would use better tubes and a speaker upgrade. I boost the crunch channel and it sounds really good.

I've never tried it with a boost.
How is it for metal? Do you have any tracks usibg this amp?

I get a good metal tone on lead 2 gain around at 5 and bass at 3 I have not boosted the lead 2 yet.

DSL is not a Mesa its a Marshall lol so its voiced different, I had a mini rec though I prefer this any day. Does do metallica good imo on the lead 2

I played one of these for a short time today and really liked it. Crunch with an overdrive pedal and a Strat, for teh bloozes. Very nice.

Different speakers make a big difference also.
