Marshall JCM2000 DSL 201 or 401 combo vs Peavey Classic 30

Which of these amps are better for versatility?
i like to play vintage stuff/high gain but i do want a nice clean.
i just want something VERY versatile.

of the three i like the 401 best. decent clean tones, good crunch and overdrive, reverb, fx loop. the peavey is ok, but i like the tone of the dsl better and it has a little more bottom. the 201 is ok but cant hang with the other two tone or volume wise.

DSL401. Its got a better bottom end than the peavey, more gain, just generally beefier sounding, and the cleans are the best Marshall have made.

decent cleans is the best i'd give... the OD sounds are amazing though. humbuckers can crunch it up quite easily, and the clean OD is more of a fizzy gain than the OD channels... with singlecoils, theyre awesome though

saying that, we're talking a hotrail in the neck going into mine :laugh2:
