Marshall JVM205C vs JVM205H + JVMC212?

Hi,

I assume that they will sound exactly the same as they use the same speakers.

I see that the advantage for the combo is the size.

But choosing the head and the cabinet separately will let us easily upgrade the head.

The price is not a big difference.

Am I missing something?
How to choose between them?

I have a modest hate for 212 combos,,,,,,just the awkwardness mainly.

tube 212s, especially those with h-type speakers (v30,cl80 ect) are very heavy to start with.

speakers and knobs are too low for my liking,,,,,unless you use a stand, but IMO most 212s don't sound near as good when elevated.

mostly though, i just prefer the head/cab setup. If their were no such thing as head/cab setups then I'd love a 212 combo.

I've always thought they should "stretch" 212s vertically so that the speakers were a bit more off the ground, an then the controls would also be a few inches higher.
They are so awkward anyways that being a little taller wouldn't really make a difference IMO.
I'm not real fond of plugging the tubes upside-down either,,, but now I'm just whining lol.
