Marshall SLP/Major

(This is more of a Friday morning thought than anything I'm pursuing)

I have looked over the schematics of both these amps and they seem to have the same layout, with different component values. Is it possible to change an SLP to Major specs? I'm thinking it's doable, swapping the components (including output transformer etc) and putting a down payment on some hearing aids :laugh2:

The transformers and the power supply (including the filtering) are the big deals. Majors operated on well over 500 volts to the plates.
