1973 Marshall Superlead Purple
100 watt 1973 Superlead. Amp has been modified by one of the previous owners but has now been returned to normal with the following exceptions:
1) Rear chassis panel has several holes where someone thought they should add a loop or some other jackass mod.
2) Amp currently has a master volume located where the presence control was. Presence has been relocated to back panel.
3). Adding a 330uf cap on V2. Increased cap value across the phase inverter to add a little VH fizz.
4) I am sure the purple tolex is a recover. But what’s cooler than a purple Superlead?
Great sounding amp. A lot of gain (like other 73 metal panels), very aggressive and sounds great. Cleans up nicely with a volume rolloff on the guitar. Has EH12AX7’s pres and EL34BSTR power tubes. Power tubes have about 50 hours on them. Amp has only been used at home since I got it.

$1300 or best offer plus shipping insurance from 06492.

Cameron Modded Superlead – Ocean Mod Plus
100 watt reissue Superlead. Effects loop. Front panel has bright switch and pull switch on Master volume. Pull switch appears to be a triode/pentode switch. Rear panel has rotary voicing switch. Each position takes the amp through different voicings (tightens bass/mid sans shift frequency). Bass boost knob and Bass frquency knob act like a resonance control. PLENTY of bass here. Lastly, a 3 way gain switch. Each position changes the voicing and adds more gain/compression to the signal.

$1525 + shipping insurance from 06492.
