Masrshall vintage or reissue

I like how the marshall plexi amps sound but they are very expensive so I was wondering if the reissue plexis 100 or 50 watt amps sounded good or close to the old ones. Also how would a vintage plexi compare to a seventies amp, either the nonmaster volume or the jmp master volume amps.

I have a 1987x 50w reissue and I love it. I also owned a 1979 jmp 2204, which has the same circuit as the early jcm800s. I have also owned an early 80s 2203 jcm800. The plexi reissue is by far my favorite of the 3. It can get a nice clean tone and the overdriven sound is smoother than the other 2.. not dissing the jcm800s though - those are nice amps for that nasty hard rock tone that we heard a lot of in the 80s.
