UPDATED PRICE ON STRAT & JB jr.
Ok- I’ve got plenty of great stuff for y’all- I *NEED* to clear this stuff out to pay for some schooling- so help me expand my edjumacation.
FYI- I PREFER A MONEY ORDER- I will take PAYPAL but you'll need to split fees with me (so add in 1.5% to the cost)
First off- I don’t want to sell this one, but It will bring the most $
This is a Mighty Mite neck, with a warmoth body (alder).Guitar has been relic’ed/aged. Hardtail bridge. The finish is re-ranch Nitro in Lake placid blue for the body and the neck is also an aged gold nitro (not too orange like many, just right IMO). 9.5” radius, frets are called “medium”- I’ve never felt a Fender neck with these kind of frets- they are taller and slightly narrower than Fender’s medium jumbo, and not as narrow as a fender vintage fret- I guess I’d say they are like a 6105 with a bit less height. They are in very good shape, but you may wanna hit em with the steel wool. The fretboard edges are rounded to give it that played in feel. Truss rod adjustment is at the headstock. It has recently had a brand new pickguard and pickups from Metal Shop Music installed- Mint green guard-and the pickups are Lindy Fralin Blues Specials- these pups flat out RAWK- they are a tad warmer than typical A5 strat pickup, and do a really good job at a SRV or Rory Gallgaher type sound, but also handle gain well for harder stuff ala Hendrix or Robin Trower- very versatile. Amazing clean tones as well. Very musical pickups- I gambled on these and was more than happy with the result. It has a blender pot . Master vol, and master tone. I aged the knobs myself and they turned out great- still has the unaged white pup covers (never got around to replacing them)- an easy fix/change. This is the best playing strat I’ve owned - it’s beyond articulate and very EASY to play for a strat- actually changed my mind about strats in general- not all of them you have to wrestle with. I’ve been playing it mostly with 9s and 9-46’s, and the resonance was good- I did try a set of 10s and this guitar resonated like mad, really rang out. My CTS keeps me from playing the 10s tho, so you guys who play 10s and 11s will really love this guitar if that’s your thing . Sustain is surprisingly good for a strat. The fellow who built this did a REALLY good job. Neck pocket is *tight*! I paid $630 with shipping and the original GFS pickups and pickguard. The New pickguard and pickups was $300 with shipping, so I’ve got over $900 into it, but I’m selling it for $600 shipped CONT 48 USA. You will have a helluva time finding a production Fender MIA or otherwise that is as nice sounding and playing as this guitar(I couldn’t). I will throw in 5 brand new sets of Dean Markley 9-42 Nickel Steels if you want along with a used but good condition leather guitar strap (brown). No case or gig-bag but it *WILL* be packed right. Any questions let me know.
White Duncan JB Jr.-bridge model in excellent shape. Includes screws and rubber thingies. Has about 7” of lead on it. $50 shipped cont.48 USA
