These are a very low mileage set of JJ KT77s. They bias up like any el34 and need no modification to the amp. They are a matched duet, with 24 hour burn in from Tube Depot. I've put about 8 hours on them myself, maybe.
Tonally, these sound like a El34 and 6L6 had a baby. Very articulate with big clear lows and highs like a 6l6 but a softer midrange like an EL34. Fantastic sounding tubes, I just need a more traditional el34 for my tone. I am replacing my Mullard RIs with a set of JJ EL34IIs because I was so impressed with these KT77s.
