Max string spacing for AJB-1B ?

Does anyone know the maximum recommended string spacing that the discontinued Active EQ Jazz Bass bridge position pickup can sense?

I am thinking to try one on a Squier Precision Special 5-string bass guitar. (String spacing = 70mm at neck PU, 75mm at bridge PU.) The stock units cannot cope.

i dont have a ajb to check, but i dont think a 4 string model pup will work on a 5 string bass even if it has narrow string spacing, but heres a bump for ya

I've sussed out the AJB-1 polepiece spacing now. If anyone is interested, it is roughly 60mm. i. e. Regular Jazz Bass. Regards, FF
