maybe you guys can help me

I play a Wolfgang, and I never use the tone control. I know some guys do, but I don't. What's the best way to remove it from the signal? I will keep the pot on the guitar for cosmetics, but I'd like to remove it from the circuit altogether.

Just unsolder or clip its connection to the volume pot.

Or you could replace with a no-load tone pot and when set to 10 it would disconnect itself from the circuit.

I cannot find those no-loads anywhere. I am a bit aprehensive to make my own right now. Thanks for the help Lew.

Don't be apprehensive! You were going to just leave the tone pot in there disconnected anyway to hold the knob. So try it on your tone pot. If you ruin it, then just leave it disconnected like you planned to in the first place.

Re: maybe you guys can help me

Give your axe a volume control for each pickup. This will give you lots of cool sounds in the #2 position. :burnout:

I didn't realize how simple of a "fix" it is. I am going to try the no-load pot mod. If I screw it up...it's gonna be disconnected from the circuit anyway. Thanks for your help guys. Sometimes it helps hearing different solutions from someone else.
