Mesa Boogie Black Shadow speakers?

Anyone got any experience/opinions to share on these? Also I'm wondering about 12" EV 12L speakers also. Any comparisons would be great.

I'm looking to get an extension speaker for my H&K ATS sixty amp. Mostly for improved output and more low-end thump. The stock speaker (i think it's an eminence) is very bright. I could potentially get either one of these used off ebay supplied in a home made cabinet.

My black shadow in my 50cal combo sounds absolutely fantastic for cleans, which is what i use the amp for...smooth warm jazzy cleans! I dont use the amp for distorted sounds much so cant comment there, but its definitely a full big warm sounding speaker...and of course some of that is the amp itself ;)

Great speakers though, powerfull too!

The MC90 is basically a built up version of the Celestion Classic Lead 80. It has a heavier build and a slightly tweeked voice (I got that from talking to Celestion).

I've only played MC90s a couple of times, and it was in a 2x12, so I can't really compare it that well to my V30 loaded 4x12, but I can say that I thought they had a nice voice and killer cleans when used with my friends Mesa DC10.
