Mesa Lonestar + SD PU Booster + Strat=AWESOME

Hey all,

I recently purchased a Mesa Boogie Lonestar Classic....The amp is incredible...Tones for days....In the process of tweaking out tones for the amp with my strat, I plugged the guitar into the Duncan Pickup Booster Pedal, set the PU resonance, and it totally put the strat on steroids...I highly recommend using the PU Resonance setting with the amp especially on the dirty channel with any kind of single coils....

As for that 3 piece combo, man, that must sound sweeeeet! A strat and a Lonestar is a wicked pairing. I can see how that specific pedal would give it just enough balls to really fill the mix well.

Glad you are enjoying the new amp. You got yourself a winning combination!

which resonance setting on the SFX-01 do you use?
what strat do you have? which pickups?

When I was test driving some Mesa amps I immediately fell in love with the lush tones of the Lonestar. It wasn't what I was shopping for, but there was no denying it had buckets of sweet smooth tone. :1:
