Messing around with a Vintage Oliver amp. Has a touch of Brown to it...

Tinkering with the odd and quirky, so thought this was well worth tossing up... Love the amp, big and open sounding.... HighOrder bucker is driving my 83 Roadstar, wound to 8.2 with an A2 magnet if I recall.... Just messing a bit.

I love amps that look cute and innocent, and then knock walls down. This one is a classic example, you would never guess the monster within!

Is Jess still alive? If you took that amp to him, I bet he'd still service it for free. That man stood behind his work all the way.

Great photo.....
Did not know Oliver Jesperson had any amps with his own name on them.

Used to use Olivers and tons of Ampegs in most of the smaller rehearsal studios in Lower Manhattan during the late 70s/80s.
